A MAN has been taken to hospital with a head injury after a reported assault in Birkenhead this afternoon (Monday, September 18).
Merseyside Police said he was found unconscious outside a pub on Conway Street in the town.
It was then reported that a man had been removed from the pub after a dispute with another man.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and has been taken to hospital.
Europa Boulevard is closed both ways at its junctions with Price Street and Conway Street whilst police continue their investigations and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
