MEET Indie, Wirral Globe's dog of the week who is looking for a forever home.
The one-year-old Caucasian Shepherd Dog is described as 'playful' and looking for a very special family who will help her become the best she can be.
Indie, currently a resident at Dogs Trust Merseyside, is still a puppy and lacks confidence so she is looking for a home with owners who will enjoy doing reward-based training with her to build her confidence and go a long way to building a bond with her new owners.
Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Indie is a lovely girl who likes to take her time to get to know you but once she does, she’s sweet, loving and loves to play with her human friends.
"She gets on with other dogs too, but she doesn’t like to share at the moment, so that’s a skill she needs to learn!
"She will need to be the only dog in the home but could live with teenage children who will be happy to help her learn new things so she can be a happy, fulfilled dog.
"As she lacks confidence currently, she doesn’t like to be left home alone so her new family will need to be around for her and leaving time will need to be built up gradually.”
Indie enjoys her walks and has proved herself to be a clever girl who will benefit from further training to keep her occupied mentally as well as physically.
