FIVE people have been charged in connection with a street brawl in Birkenhead, police have confirmed.
On Sunday, November 6, 2022 at around 4am, it was reported that a group of people were involved in a fight on Conway Street.
The alleged incident is thought to have started outside a bar when a group of men gathered outside while two other people were fighting.
According to witnesses, the incident escalated into a 'large-scale' fight between several men and one woman, who was punched and knocked unconscious.
Following an extensive investigation, Merseyside Police confirmed that the following people have been charged with affray:
- A 17-year-old male from Wallasey
- Ellis Price, 26, of Pennine Road, Prenton
- Nyomi Mills, 22, of Goldsmith Way, Prenton
- Reece Hegarty, 19, of Vittoria Street, Birkenhead
- Jordan Hawkins, 26, of Autumn Grove, Rock Ferry
They are all due to appear at Wirral Magistrate's Court on Monday, October 2.
