HERE is a round-up of food hygiene ratings for venues across Wirral following inspections in recent months.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 29 Wirral’s restaurants, cafes, takeaways and canteens from June 2023 to August 2023, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

What do different food hygiene ratings mean?

4 – Hygiene standards are good.

3 – Hygiene standards are generally satisfactory.

2 – Some improvement is necessary.

1 – Major improvement is necessary.

0 – Urgent improvement is required.
