A MAN was taken to hospital with a "serious head injury" after a crash in Birkenhead.
At around 10.15pm on Wednesday night (August 30) police received a report of a crash involving two cars.
It was reported that the cars were involved in a collision on Cleveland Street.
Emergency services attended and a male driver was taken to hospital with a serious head injury. He has since been discharged from hospital.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Our enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
