POSTCODE Lottery players in one Ellesmere Port area have started the month of August in style, after picking up the Postcode Care Trust daily jackpot.
The lucky winners' specific postcode, CH66 1TJ, which is located on Naylor Road in Overpool was picked as one of 20 winning postcodes from around the country.
Each player within the winning postcode will receive £1000.
The Postcode Lottery is a subscription service in which player pay £12 a month, entitling them to entry into all draws. People's Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 charities, with each producing one draw a month.
On Saturdays, players could take home a share of £1m and on Sundays they have the chance to win £30,000 each.
A third of each member's ticket price goes to charity, with an estimated £1.1bn having been raised for good causes.
