ZIPPO’S Circus is heading for Wirral with a brand new 2023 show titled Nomads.
The big top will be erected at The Dips in New Brighton from Wednesday 16 until Sunday 20, August.
This year's theme celebrates the circus’s nomadic way of life and will feature an international cast of circus performers.
Headlining the show are the Mighty Mongolian Warriors from the Mongolian Steppes. They perform hand voltige, skipping and aerial acts.
The 2023 show also has acts returning by popular demand including the legendary motorbike Globe of Death from Brazil. There's also fast juggling, knife throwing and whip cracking from the Czech Republic, and fearless feats of daredevil aerial artistry from the UK’s Jackie. Audiences will also be able to watch high-energy acrobatics from the Kenyan Timbuktu Tumblers, and a thrilling Wheel of Death act from Colombia.
The international cast continues with a performance on a vertical pole from Moroccan-born Ibrahim. Ludvick from the Czech Republic have a Rola Rola act, and there's nail-biting Swinging Trapeze featuring Alexander from Spain, plus Ukrainian dancers Diana and Sophia.
UK comedy star Whimmie Walker will get everyone laughing while inspirational Brazilian artist Paulo Dos Santos will perform acrobatics, aerial acts and comedy while standing at one metre tall.
