MERSEY Ferries and The Beatles Story have announced the relaunch of the joint River Cruise & The Beatles Story ticket.
The combination ticket includes a 50-minute River Explorer Cruise with Mersey Ferries and a visit to The Beatles Story.
The ferry will set off from Liverpool Gerry Marsden (Pier Head) Ferry Terminal or Seacombe Ferry Terminal and see the sites from Liverpool and Wirral’s historic and picturesque waterfront.
While on the ferry, cruisers will learn facts about Mersey Ferries connection to The Beatles and hear about their four performances on the Royal Iris at The Cavern Club’s Riverboat Shuffle Cruises in 1961 and 1962.
Located just a short scenic walk from Liverpool Gerry Marsden (Pier Head) Ferry Terminal is The Beatles Story exhibition at The Royal Albert Dock.
Travel back to 1960s Liverpool and beyond on an immersive journey through the lives of the world’s greatest band at The Beatles Story, Royal Albert Dock. Walk through replicas of key locations and moments from the band’s career including Hamburg, The Cavern Club and Abbey Road Studios.
The Beatles Story tells the whole story from the forming to the break-up of the Fab Four and features an impressive collection of fascinating authentic memorabilia including George Harrison’s first guitar, John Lennon’s last piano, Ringo Starr’s drum kit, rare album sleeves, never-before-seen photography and original handwritten lyrics.
