TWO murals have been painted as part of a scheme to improve the environment of the maternity wards at Arrowe Park.
Wirral Maternity Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) is an NHS working group that consists of parents and parents to be that work alongside those working in the Women and Children's Hospital at Arrowe Park with the aim of improving the maternity and neonatal service that families receive.
Recently they have been working with the Midwifery Team to improve the environment of the maternity wards.
Artist Nicola Pickles from Inky Pickles produced two murals in the ward. A number of MNVP volunteers gave their voice as to what they would like to see when visiting and staying in the hospital.
As well as improving the environment, the team work with the hospital staff to share experiences and feedback from those that have used the service with senior staff and use social media platforms to share important maternity and neonatal experiences.
They also support families by signposting to relevant services during their parenting journey.
