THE father of Elle Edwards has revealed in his first live TV interview that he wears a locket with a piece of his daughter's hair in "every day".
Tim Edwards was interviewed by Susanna Reid and Ed Balls on Good Morning Britain yesterday (July 12).
In the television interview, Tim explained how he was "glad" the trial was finally over and they got the "best justice" they could've possibly received.
On Friday, July 7, Connor Chapman, 23, was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 48 years after being found guilty of the 26-year-old beautician's murder.
Susanna said what would "strike viewers" is the fact Tim said he would "never mention the name" of Elle's killer again.
"He's not worthy of my energy and I don't need to mention his name", Tim told the GMB presenters.
The broadcasters smiled as they asked Tim about a locket he wore throughout the murder trial, which he revealed has a piece of Elle's hair in it.
He said: "I wear it every day. She's with me everywhere I go. She'll always be with me."
After discussing what he remembers most about Elle, he praised the work of the police officers during the investigation for the "dedication" that they show in finding Elle's killer.
Susanna described Tim as "the picture of strength" after his appearance on the ITV news programme saying "our hearts go out to you".
