WHERE is your favourite place to go for a picnic in Wirral?
Today (Sunday, June 18) marks International Picnic Day.
With stunning beaches and gorgeous parks, there are so many beautiful locations to choose from.
We asked Globe readers where their favourite spot is to go for a picnic and here are their answers.
Heather Izzard said Port Sunlight Village was her favourite.
She wrote: "Port Sunlight Village. We were there last week. It was beautiful!"
Dave Gibson suggested Royden Park, which he said was especially great if you had kids.
He wrote: "Royden park is good, especially on a Sunday when the miniature railway is on. Great if you have kids."
Julia Eaton voted her number one as Caldy Beach.
She said: "Caldy Beach common. It's lovely there."
Gaynor Hargreave voted for Red Rocks.
She said: "Red Rocks, been going for years, mum and dad took me and my brother there for picnics years ago. Just unfortunate it gets busy now, wasn't then."
Geoff Thomason voted for Hanging Rock, while Steph Wilkins said Birkenhead Priory & St Mary's Tower took her picnic top spot.
Other places that got a mention were from Susan Cahill who said Bidston Hill, Kelsey Shaw who voted Ashton Park in West Kirby and Falko No with Birkenhead Park.
Linda Dempsey said her number one was Wirral Way.
Steven Farrington said: "It's not the place, it's the people you are with that matters."
