THE funeral date for a Moreton mum-of-three who died after having a seizure in a Turkey airport has been confirmed by her family.
30-year-old Melissa Kinsella tragically died on Friday, May 26 after she was flown home from Turkey folllwing the incident.
She was due to fly home after a holiday in Turkey on Monday, May 15 with her partner, Jay Smith, his family and their three children, Chloe, Beau, and Romi but suffered a seizure just before boarding her flight.
After 10 days on life support in Turkey after doctors found out Melissa had swelling on her heart and brain, she was flown home by air ambulance after a Go Fund Me page, set up by her best friend, Rebecca Dath, raised over £50,000.
Since her death, Melissa's friends and family have described her as "bubbly", "amazing" and "loved by everyone".
In a tribute to the Globe, Rebecca said: "She was funny, outgoing and everyone who met her loved her. She was everyone’s best friend but she only had a few people she considered a best friend and if you were one of them you were extremely blessed.
"She really was amazing, she was super close to her mum and pops and thought the absolute world of them. She will be so so proud of how strong they have been."
Yesterday evening (Monday, June 5) Michelle posted a public Facebook post confirming that Melissa's funeral will take place on Friday, June 30.
The horse and carriage will leave the family home at 10.30am and will travel to the Landican Cemetery, on Arrowe Park Road, for the funeral to begin at 12pm.
Everyone is asked to wear "brightly coloured clothes" to "light up the chapel".
In a Facebook post, Michelle wrote: "Can’t believe these words are coming from my mouth. Melissa Bridget Kinsella's funeral is on the 30th June at Landican at 12pm leaving our house by horse and carriage at 10.30am then on to Secred Hearts at 1pm.
"Can we all wear brightly coloured clothes so we can light up the Chapel for our sleeping beauty."
