A child-friendly fun run in aid of Claire House will be held in Birkenhead Park later this month.
Described by its organisers as "the perfect event for little legs", the Claire Bear 3K event in Birkenhead Park on Sunday, June 18 can be run, walked, scooted or skipped.
It isn't a race, it’s a community event where all children can get involved and fundraise for Claire House.
Claire Bear will be on the finish line on the day to give out high-fives and everyone taking part will receive a medal.
Event fundraiser Mark Pearson said: "Claire House only exists because of the support of the local community and it's amazing when local children fundraise to support their children’s hospice.
"It's only £5 per child to register – adults don't need to pay, but any children aged 10 or under must be accompanied by an adult on the day."
The event village will open at 11am and the Claire Bear 3K will start at 12pm.
Mark continued: "We're super excited to be in Birkenhead Park and we're so happy that Claire Bear will be there.
"There’ll be food and drink to buy so we hope that people will make a day of it and stay and have a picnic afterwards.”
Registration is open now by clicking here and closes on Sunday, June 11.
