EUREKA! Science + Discovery have announced an opening date for its new area.
The Burrow is a playful and interactive space with objects, activities and play areas themed around local nature and the environment.
Eureka! Science + Discovery tickets include entry into The Burrow, and annual pass holders will be able to access The Burrow free of charge. Families are welcome to move between the main attraction and The Burrow, although capacity in The Burrow will be managed by the team at the admissions desk.
Liz Peniston, Director of Content and Visitor Experience said: “We know local families have been waiting a long time for The Burrow to open, and we really want to thank everyone for their patience.
“We love the space, and we’re so excited to share it with families now”.
The opening coincides with Eureka! Science + Discovery moving to a six-day a week opening, with the attraction open Tuesday through to Sunday in school term times, and daily in school holiday periods.
A new ticket offer for local Childminders is also being launched this week, allowing Childminders to purchase a pass for themselves, one other adult carer and any five children in their care to access Eureka! Science + Discovery for 12 months.
The Burrow will open to the public on Saturday, May 27.
