A FANCY dress business in Ellesmere Port had their skirts showcased on BBC Breakfast in a Eurovision special on Saturday (May 13).
Joy Brothwood, 43, started working in Party Place, on Whitby Road, as a Saturday girl in 1995.
In October 2017, the previous owner retired, and Joy and her husband bought the business.
The shop, which is three floors, stocks fancy dress, face painting, accessories and balloons.
Joy said: "It's difficult to put a price on it because it's got everything in here.
"It's like an Aladdin's cave."
In January, the shop was approached by the BBC to ask if they stocked Buck's Fizz skirts.
Joy explained that they didn't stock them, but they could make 20 skirts, for the BBC instead.
She added: "I asked what they were doing and they told me it was for a spot on breakfast TV. We didn't know what or when, but we rushed out to get the fabric.
"I've never done anything so fast, and we finished the order a couple of weeks later.
"We've been watching breakfast TV for months now and we finally saw it on Saturday so I could announce it."
The clip, which was aired on Saturday (May 13), the day of the Eurovision grand final, was part of a wider report with scousers Jen and Sereen, who went viral for not knowing Eurovision was on in Liverpool earlier this year.
Throughout the video, the pair are shown memorable and iconic moments from Eurovision throughout the years, including Abba's Waterloo and Bucks Fizz's, Making Your Mind Up.
Meet Jen & Sereen... who didn't know Eurovision was on in Liverpool.

Joy added: "It was so exciting seeing all of them dancing with my skirts on.
"It's just a small thing but we're a small high-street shop and any exposure like this is really good."
Party Place is located at 35 Whitby Rd, Ellesmere Port, CH65 8AA.
