A VARIETY of properties in Wirral are set to be auctioned this month.
Property auctioneer, Smiths and Sons, have revealed details of their latest property auction which includes 20 lots ready for upgrading and refurbishment.
Included in the auction are several homes which require modernisation works to bring them up to date. There are also commercial lots up for auction, some with living accommodation above.
In Moreton, a double fronted three bedroomed bungalow which has been empty for many years is up for purchase. It features a large garden and potential to extend to a purchaser’s own requirements either for sale or for owner occupation.
A four bedroomed semi-detached property in Thingwall is also available and is described by auctioneers as an “excellent refurbishment opportunity”. The property is offered at a guide price of £200/220,000 having recently been marketed at £270,000.
Other houses guided at between £60/70,000, are listed as refurbishment projects which offer “good investment and resale potential”.
Chris Johnson, Auctioneer at Smith and Sons said: “Whilst this isn’t a huge auction in terms of lots available, those that are listed present significant scope to upgrade and add value.
“We’ve had lots of interest in this auction and expect to see plenty of bidding on the day.”
The online auction event is to be held on May 17
