A NEW luxury travel shop, which is based on a 'Bali beach club' theme is due to open in Liverpool One this month.
Kuoni, which plans tailor-made holidays all over the world, is re-locating its existing shop in Peter’s Lane to Paradise Street within the Liverpool One shopping centre.
The new shop has a bar area serving cocktails, champagne, teas and coffees so people can come in and chat to the well-travelled team about their holiday plans in beautiful surroundings.
Demand for travel is on the rise again as people in the city get back to planning adventures, beach breaks, honeymoons and short breaks.
Jane Griffiths, store manager at the Kuoni Liverpool store, confirmed demand is particularly strong right now for long-haul beach holidays and top choices include the Maldives, Mauritius and Bali.
A team of six will be based at the new store, with 155 years’ experience of working in travel between them.
Specialist travel knowledge within the team covers all corners of the globe with particular expertise when it comes to the Indian Ocean, Africa, South America, Asia and Europe.
'It’s fantastic that Liverpool has been chosen to launch our new store design'
Jane Griffiths said: "It’s fantastic that Liverpool has been chosen to launch our new store design concept and exciting to be able to move to a new, high footfall location within the city. We’ve taken inspiration from holidays we know our local clients love which is why the design is themed around Bali beach clubs.
"We’ve seen demand for travel increase over the past few months and we felt there was an opportunity to bring something new to the way people plan their holidays. We’re all about the human touch and our team are friendly, experienced and well-travelled so they’re able to help clients plan bespoke holidays with a strong emphasis on ideas, advice and service from the planning stage through to returning home."
The store will be opening on May 15.
