WALLASEY Musical Theatre Society will stage its production of The Vicar of Dibley later this month.
The show, based on the iconic 1990s TV comedy, is at The Mosslands School in Wallasey on May 19 and 20.
It features the well-known characters Geraldine, the glamorous vicar, Jim, Owen, Hugo, David, Mrs Cropley and of course Alice Tinker. Not to be missed.

THE Mess Café at Fort Perch Rock in New Brighton is hosting poetry open mic night this Wednesday.
Hosted by Lorraine Logan, it features Hoylake bluesman Al Peters with PA & Lights by Gordon Logan.
Put your name down to recite on the night from 6.30pm. It promises "a great welcoming atmosphere, especially for first-time poets of all ages with easy access.

THERE will be an opportunity for three to 14-year-olds to start to play golf or improve their golfing skills a special event next week.
