O'Grady died on March 28 aged 67 at his home in the village of Aldington in Kent. On Saturday, April 15 it was confirmed that he had died from a sudden cardiac arrhythmia.
Fans of the late Birkenhead-born star stood outside Primark on Grange Road to pay their respects and celebrate the celebrity’s life.

Locals and their dogs could be seen taking part in singing, dancing, and signing a book of condolences while donations were collected for local dog shelter, Friends of Birkenhead Kennels.
