A WIRRAL charity for young people with cerebral palsy has set up a legal support panel to provide support for those who use its services.

Stick 'n' Step's legal support panel will provide support and advice to families of young people who attend its centres in Wallasey and Runcorn.

The panel consists of lawyers from Graystons Solicitors, Irwin Mitchell Solicitors and Slater and Gordon Lawyers.

The lawyers involved are John Doyle from Slater and Gordon, Kris Inskip (Irwin Mitchell), and Sean McCann and Lydia Brindley (Graystons).

Amy Couture, Stick'n'Step's chief executive said: "We have always prioritised supporting the whole family of any child or young person who attends Stick 'n' Step.

"Creating a legal panel of approved lawyers to whom they can turn for guidance on a host of issues, from writing wills to buying or selling property or any kind of legal advice was a logical next step for us. We really appreciate the specialist support of all these three firms."

Legal assistance provided by the panel includes Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Court of Protection, Wills, Trusts and Probate, Employment and Family Law.

Stick 'n' Step provides free weekly conductive education sessions to children and young people with cerebral palsy up to the age of 25, allowing them to gain the skills they need to live more independent lives.

The charity relies on supporters and volunteers to help raise the £750,000 required to deliver its services to over 100 families each year at its Wallasey and Runcorn centres.
