POLICE officers have charged a man from Birkenhead following an incident on Thursday, March 2.
A spoeksperson for Merseyside Police said: "At around 5pm, we received a report of a disturbance on Bentinck Street.
"Charlie Farragher, 23, of Vittoria Street, in Birkenhead, has been charged with possession of a knife/blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
"He has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton Adult Remand Court tomorrow (Saturday 4 March)."
