A GROUP of girl guides celebrated 'random act of kindness' day by putting books, toys, and crocheted items around the community for people to find.
2nd Great Sutton Rainbows is a group made up of girls ages 4-7 and was set up in 2019.
The group is run by Charlotte Beattie who has been a guide leader for nine years and Ruth White. It is based at Hope Farm Methodist Church and the group meet once a week to do a range of activities.
On Friday (February 17) it was 'random act of kindness day' and Charlotte decided to take the girls out for a walk around Hope Farm to put a range of gifts out for members of the community to find and keep.
Speaking to the Globe, Charlotte said: "It was always in the pipeline to do something.
"At Christmas we made shoeboxes to gift to children and made gifts for a care home."
The group put out around 40 books, three toys and 25 crochet gifts.
Charlotte added: "All of the things we put out around Hope Farm apart from the crochet bits were donations from the girls and their families."
