The Refreshments Rooms

Many readers voted The Refreshment Rooms in Birkenhead as the best place for a roast.

Ruth Jones, Alison Jones, Jasmine Jackson, Corinne Whitham, Laura Elizabeth, Sheila Kemp and Pat Foden all said the former Admiral pub on the Rock Ferry waterfront was the best.

Molly's Chambers Bar and Kitchen

Another very popular answer was Molly's Chambers Bar and Kitchen also in Birkenhead.

Rosie Lloyd, Jan Derbyshire, Neil Charlesworth and Sophie Gordon voted Molly's as their favourite place to have a roast dinner.

The Fox & Hounds

The next pub on the list is The Fox & Hounds in Barston.

Angela Church, Helen Miles, Dave Arthur Neil and Julie McCann all said the pub was the best place for a Sunday roast.

Elixir

A couple of Globe readers, Leon Brain and Alison Taylor, said their favourite roast was at Elixir in Oxton.

On a Sunday you can get two courses, including a roast, for £18.95 per person or three courses for £23.95.

The Olive Tree

Next is The Olive Tree in New Brighton.

Lindsey Kell and Jayne Jackson both voted this restaurant as their favourite roast in Wirral.

Poulton Vic's

Kelly Jackson Cooper, Barbara Calveley, Suzanne McMinn and Jane Holmes Jackson also said their favourite place to get a roast in Wirral is Poulton Vic's. 

The Sports and Social Club in Wallasey serve roast dinners from 12pm each Sunday.
