A GANG of masked youths smashed a police car window in Bromborough.
Yesterday evening (Friday, January 27) a gang of masked youths smashed a widow of a Merseyside Police car.
The incident took place while officers were at Croft Retail Park in Bromborough.
Posting on social media, Merseyside Police said it is the second evening in a row that a police car has been vandalised.
A spokesperson from the force said: “For the second evening in a row a Merseyside police vehicle has had one of its windows smashed on Croft Retail Park in Bromborough.
“Youths so brave that they cover their face and run away afterwards.
“Both vehicles are now off the road and can't assist in helping the public when needed in an emergency.
“Parents or carers, please know what your children are up to when out in the evening.
"We are working with businesses, schools, housing associations, Wirral Council ASB team and have various sources of CCTV.
“When we identify those responsible, action will be taken by the police in company with housing and the council.
