A WOMAN from Ellesmere Port, who lost her partner of 27 years when he was killed in a crash has said she is 'overwhelmed' with the kindness of the community.
Sean Coffey died on Saturday, December 31 2022 following a collision on the A41, Chester Road in Little Sutton.
Officers attended the scene and found that a pedestrian has been involved in a collision with two cars, a black BMW X5 and a grey Land Rover Discovery.
Sean sustained serious injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics. Sadly, despite the efforts of all those involved, he died as a result of the incident.
The 55-year-old left behind his partner, Zoe Wyness, and their two sons who are 15 and 18.
Yesterday (January 25) Zoe was gifted two bunches of flowers from a man called Stewart, who is an employee at the local Iceland.
Zoe did not know Stewart personally and was overwhelmed by his kind gesture.
In a comment to the Globe, Zoe said: "I am overwhelmed by the kindness of the general public, friends and my gorgeous family from both sides.
"I was totally blown away when Stewart from Iceland shop came back to give me and my boys flowers to show his respect.

"Thank you from the Coffey family x"
Police continue to appeal for witnesses
Cheshire Police continue to appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage following Sean's death.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said on January 12: "We are particularly interested in speaking with a female who was very close to the collision when it occurred, she went into the Nice Kebab and Pizza House on Chester Road to call for help.
"We believe that she would be able to assist us in our investigation.
"I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage that will help us establish the circumstances to contact us for the sake of Sean’s devastated family."
