PART of a Wirral road is closed to motorists after a road traffic crash earlier this evening.
Police were called to Laird Street at the junction of Lansdowne Street in Birkenhead at around 7pm to reports of a crash involving a car and motorbike outside a petrol station.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.
The motorcyclist is believed to have sustained facial injuries.
A cordon remains in place on Laird Street near KFC and the BP garage.
Merseyside Police have been contacted for more details.
