A SEA of floral tributes have been left near to a pub to shooting innocent victim Elle Edwards.
Beautician Elle Edwards was killed in the shooting at the Lighthouse Inn pub in Wallasey Village on Christmas Eve night.
She was shot in the head in what police believe was not a targeted attack.
The 26-year-old was with her sister and friends at the Lighthouse Inn, in Wallasey Village, when she was shot.
Police were called to the scene shortly before midnight.
Officers said they believe the gunman fired shots towards the front entrance of the pub and that minutes later a dark-coloured vehicle "possibly an A class Mercedes" was seen leaving the car park.
At the scene, a raft of floral tributes have been left to 26-year-old Elle.
A heart-shaped plaque bearing a pink and green floral design read: “Special Daughter, the happiness you brought in your own special way, will be remembered with love each and every day.”
A note with flowers, signed “mum and dad”, read: “To my beautiful Elle, you are the light of my life, you will never be gone.”
Members of the community have left a sea of tributes at the scene.
Meanwhile, four men were hurt in the incident, with one initially in a critical condition and the other three not believed to have life-threatening injuries.
