A WIRRAL gin distillery has scooped a BBC Good Food award in the best gin subscriptions and clubs category for 2022.
Brimstage Distillery, which runs the Friday Night Gin Club, has been awarded The BBC Good Food award for Best Gin Club for Gifting.
The distillery's gin club opened in 2018 and is a family-run business.
Owner of the company, Eric Healing, from Spital, said: "We wanted to do something different from the other clubs.
"Our subscription is you pay £90 and you get 20 gins come through over five months.
"It's more about the gin for us. We focus on local gins."
The subscription, which is for five months at a time, gives you the choice on whether you want to be sent a four-pack of miniatures each month or a full-size 70cl bottle of craft gin.
There are no mixers, snacks or magazines in the subscription, as the company focuses solely on the gin.

Eric and his team were contacted by BBC and sent them over a sample pack with information about their work.
He added: "We feel amazing. We knew we had a great product but we weren't sure we were going to win it so when we found out we were really pleased."
The company also runs a gin school where you learn how to make your own gin from Master Distillers.
Wirral gin school has also won the Tripadvisor first place spot for 'Classes and Workshops' on the Wirral.
Brimstage Distillery is located at The Tower, Champions Business Park Upton, Wirral, CH49 0AB.
