A MAN from Leasowe has opened up a brand-new bistro-style restaurant in Ellesmere Port.
Aleksander Alexandrov, 41, has always dreamed of having his own business in the food industry.
Speaking to the Globe, he said: "When I was a little kid I watched my mum and dad run a food truck so i've always wanted to be in the industry.
"I've been a barman, server, in the kitchen, cleaning dishes, everything there is i've been and done it.
"When I got the opportunity to take over from the previous owner, I just couldn't miss out."
When talking about deciding to open up Antalya Bistro in Ellesmere Port, Aleksander explained how he loves the town.
He added: "I had been round the Ellesmere Port community and everyone is nice and friendly.
"Everyone was lovely to me, and I thought it would be a good place to open up a restaurant for people to come and eat."
The bistro will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes.
Dishes include Halal, full-English, wraps, panini's, burgers, pasta and kebabs.
Aleksander said: "When I was 13 my father took me to Antalya in Turkey.
"That is where I started to fall in love. Everyone was happy and working, the food was nice and I wanted to provide that to the people here."
Antayla Bistro is located at 1A Woodland Road, Whitby, Ellesmere Port CH65 6PN and opens on Tuesday, November 15 at 9am.
The bistro is open every day (closed on Mondays) from 9am-10.30pm.
