FIREFIGHTERS were kept busy tackling Bonfire Night-related incidents, including several in the Ellesmere Port area.
Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service attended a total of seven incidents across Ellesmere Port on Saturday, November 5.
These incidents range from large bonfires to bonfires close to houses and unattended bonfires.
Ellesmere Port Fire Station tweeted ahead of the Bonfire Night celebrations.
People might see starting a small bonfire or setting off fireworks as a bit of harmless fun, but fire is extremely unpredictable and can easily get out of control and spread – causing serious injury and untold damage to properties. #bonfirenight #firefighters #fireworks 🔥 🚒

At 5.37pm the crew were called to Sutton Way, Ellesmere Port to reports of a large bonfire.
Following this, at 6.18pm the crew attended a bonfire on Regal Close, which had been reported to be close to houses.
When the firefighters arrived they were happy it was safe, supervised and under control.
The crew ran a live blog and were tweeting throughout the night.

At 10.19pm crew attended an unattended bonfire on Thronton Road, Ellesmere Port.
To extinguish it firefighters used a hose reel water jet.
At 1.09am Ellesmere Port's firefighters used a hose reel water jet to put out an unattended and unsupervised bonfire at Browning Drive.
Later, at 4.48am, one fire engine from Ellesmere Port was sent to put out a small unattended bonfire in the open at Bunbury Green.
Firefighters from Ellesmere Port returned to a fire from earlier in the night where there was concern that hot ashes had been left unattended on Westminster Road at 5.01am.
They dampened down to make it safe.
Finally, a small unattended fire on a communal patch of land was put out by firefighters from Ellesmere Port using a hose reel water jet at 5.15am on Hawthorn Road.
