A NESTON man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of rape.
The charges relate to an alleged incident that took place at approximately 9.30pm on Monday, October 3 in Stanney Fields Park, Neston.
Jwamer Saygul, 23, of Ringway, Neston was arrested and subsequently charged with the alleged offence on Wednesday, October 5.
A trial date has been scheduled for April 3, 2023 at Chester Crown Court, which is due to last four days.
Saygul was remanded in custody and is next due to appear in court for a pre-trial review on January 6.
