THE colleagues of Drew Cockton have paid tribute to their “darling Drew” who died suddenly on Saturday, October 22.
Wirral businessman, Drew Cockton, won funding on the hit BBC businesses show Dragons' Den for his fragrance and candle brand, Owen Drew.
On Sunday, October 23, the family of Drew announced the sudden death of the 36-year-old.
Since the devastating news, the team behind Drew’s fragrance company shared their heartbreak.
In a Facebook post published on the Owen Drew England business page, Drew’s colleagues posted: “Our founder, our driving force, our friend.
“Drew, we are all completely heartbroken at your passing. The brightest light in the room.

“Your creativity, passion, and humour were infectious. It inspired us all and created the brand we are all so proud to represent.
“Your imagination knew no bounds, and your belief in Owen Drew was our heartbeat.
“You were loved so very much by everyone associated with Owen Drew – your family, your team, your customers, your contacts and your charity partners.
“We loved your vision. We loved your entrepreneurial spirit. We loved everything about you.
“We will strive to make you proud every day and continue to build a legacy in your honour.
“You simply were Owen Drew. We will keep your light shining, now and forever our darling Drew. Mike and the Owen Drew Team x.”
