BRITISH drummer and Car SOS TV presenter Fuzz Townshend visited a garage in Ellesmere Port to record an advert this week.
The 58-year-old, from Birmingham, has featured in music groups such as Pop Will Eat Itself, The Wonder Stuff, Bentley Rhythm Ace and Pama International. He is also a freelance motoring journalist.
Fuzz appeared at the Car Clinic MOT Centre at Bank Farm with his camera crew to record an advert for Landsail Tyres, which Fuzz is the new face of.
Landsail Tyres is a brand that Car Clinic MOT Centre sell a lot of, and they were thrilled when they were asked to be the setting of the new advert.
Mike Cooper, who owns the garage with his brother Matty Cooper, said: "We were picked because of the way we present ourselves as a garage.
"They told us they liked the way we run things and asked if they could use our garage for the advert."
After spending the whole day filming, the crew also invited a couple of the garage staff to appear in the advert, changing the tyres on a car.
Mike added: "It's a really good thing for the area and all our customers were commenting about it this morning.
"Everyone was buzzing and was a great day for the team."
