To mark the international celebrations, we asked members of our Wirral Globe Camera Club to share their favourite photo of the summer.
The Camera Club is a supportive and friendly group of amateur and professional photographers and as well as submitting photos taken recently, members also take part in regular themed challenges.
Their favourite shots included seals, sunsets and seas as well as the moon.
You can join 975 others in our camera club on Facebook at faceook.com/groups/wirralglobecameraclub
