A LARGE production team were spotted filming in Birkenhead today.

The filming crew could be seen set up at Hamilton Square, Birkenhead this morning, Thursday, August 11.

The crew were said to be filming for the new football game, FIFA23.

Large groups of actors dressed in Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City football tops could be seen parading the streets of the Grade II listed buildings while chanting and waving flags.

A car also filled with extras posing as football fans could be seen driving down the road.

Staff on the set of the filming said Liverpool FC players Virgil Van Dijk, Roberto Firmino, and Curtis Jones were also being filmed today but this has not been confirmed.
