A WIRRAL lawyer has landed a top job with law firm Slater and Gordon as it looks to strengthen its team.
Jenniffer Brunt has been appointed Principal Lawyer of the firm's Liverpool Family team and brings a wealth of experience to Slater and Gordon, having specialised in all areas of family law since 1997. She deals mainly with divorce and complex financial relief cases.
Having qualified as a CILEX Fellow at Liverpool’s John Moores university in 2004, she has also gained qualifications in Family Law Mediation and is a Qualified Collaborative Lawyer. Prior to joining Slater and Gordon, Jenniffer was a director at Jackson Lees in Wirral and Liverpool.
Dealing with Pre and Post Nuptial agreements involving high net worth assets as well as Cohabitation Disputes, Jenniffer has also dealt with Private Children Law and Injunction cases.
Speaking about her appointment, Jenniffer said: “I am passionate about Family Law and committed to helping clients during what can be the most difficult time in their life.
“I have previously dealt with cases involving assets in excess of £100m – which involved off-shore, complicated Family Trusts. The cases were dealt with at the High Court due to complexity and QCs instructed by both parties.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Slater and Gordon as it continues to cement its presence in the North West, supporting clients across the region with a wide range of Family matters. S+G is building a brilliant and passionate Family team with a high-performing, customer-centric culture.”
Jennifer has appeared on local radio talking about family law matters and her clients have described her as “always prompt and concise”. She has been praised for her supportive yet professional nature when dealing with emotional situations.
Georgina Chase, Head of Practice, Family Law at Slater and Gordon, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jenniffer to head up our Liverpool Family Team. Having a Principal Lawyer of Jenniffer’s calibre will drive forward our Family Law offering in Merseyside and beyond and I look forward to working with her to further develop our Family Practice nationally.”
