ARTS and crafts retailer Hobbycraft is to open a new store in Wirral next month, creating 14 new jobs.
The new branch at Unit B2 The Croft Retail Park in Bromborough opens its doors on Wednesday, May 25.
There will be a grand opening event on Saturday, May 28 at 9am with product offers and a range of activities, including free goody bags for the first 100 customers and live crafting demonstrations throughout the day.
A spokesperson for the retailer said: "Hobbycraft Bromborough has created 14 new jobs in the local area.
"These roles have offered the Bromborough community the opportunity to work for the fourth Best Big Company to work for in the UK and the third Best Retail Company to work for in the UK, accolades that Hobbycraft were awarded in May 2021 by Best Companies."
Store manager Michelle said: "We are really looking forward to opening the doors to our Bromborough store and sharing our passion for arts and crafts with the local community.
"Over the last few years, we have seen more people than ever take up crafting and we want to encourage locals to come down to the new store and share their crafting experience."
