POLICE officers in Wirral are reminding people to be vigilant when using card machines.
On Friday, April 8 a device was found at an automated cash machine (ATM) in Bebington, which could be used to commit fraud.
Wirral Police posted a warning on its Facebook page on Friday asking people to be "extra vigilant when using ATM's".
The post read: "Officers have today seized this device which had been placed on an ATM on Teehey Lane in Bebington.
"The device stops money from being dispensed tricking the user to think the machine is broken before walking away without their money.
"If you see something suspicious, do not use the ATM and report this as soon as possible."
