Food lovers with a sweet tooth are in for a treat as Wirral’s first-ever drive-in dessert shop has opened in Heswall.

Crush on Village Road which opened at the end of August 2021, is well known by locals for its smoothies, milkshakes, acai bowls, bubble tea, and homemade desserts.

Now Natasha Baxter and Sophie White, who own the shop, have taken it one step further by offering customers the chance to receive handmade sweet treats while in the comfort of their own car.

Wirral Globe:

Speaking to the Globe about the idea, Sophie said: “We don’t have any seating in the shop so we knew we wanted to do something cool and different for the Wirral.

“Natasha came up with creating a board that we can put through people’s cars and serve them desserts on.”

Customers can enjoy the custom-made board, which slots inside their car, for an hour while their freshly made order is brought straight to the car.

Natasha said: “People love it. We’ve been so busy since introducing it we’ve had people come from Wales, Chester, Southport, people drive from all over just to try it.”

Sophie added: “People have brought their children, best friends, partners, someone even brought their grandparents for their birthday.

Wirral Globe:

“It’s just something for people to do of an evening because there’s not much going on in Wirral.”

All desserts on offer are all baked and made fresh by Natasha’s mum, Joyce Baxter, who helps the couple come up with new cookie dough, waffle, and brownie ideas.

The boards are available to customers every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5.00 pm-10.00 pm with a minimum spend of £20.
