COULD you be the special someone Marley is looking for?

The four-year-old Lurcher has come on in leaps and bounds since arriving at Dogs Trust Merseyside.

When he first arrived he was nervous when meeting new people and although he still likes to take his time to get to know you, he is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves to be made a fuss of.

He enjoys a tasty treat so this will definitely help his new family build a bond with him as they continue to help him develop his confidence in his new home.

Georgina Lowery, Manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "It has been lovely to see Marley grow in confidence and show his true, fun personality and he will make a great family pet. He loves playing with his toys and his favourite game is chase.

"He wasn't keen on heading out on walks at first as he wasn't used to it, but now he is really enjoying being walked and beginning to understand that heading out and about with his human friends is a great thing to do."

Marley is looking for patient owners who will help him continue to reach his potential.

He is happy to walk alongside quiet, calm dogs but he likes his own space too so will need to be the only dog in the home.

As a Lurcher he is very alert around small animals so can’t live with cats or small furries. He can live with children aged 14 and upwards and would love his new owners to be around most of the time to help him settle in.
