Readers of Conde Nast Traveller have voted Liverpool as the fifth best city in the UK in 2021 (PA)
Liverpool has been named as one of the top cities in the UK.
Conde Nast Traveller collaborated with its sister title in the USA to rank the top ten cities in the UK based on nightlife, restaurants and friendliness and Liverpool as the third best city in the UK in 2021.
Liverpool is best known for being home to legendary band The Beatles and the Baltic Market, which is the city’s first street food market in the heart of the city centre.
In the poll, Liverpool scored 89.05 by readers, ranking just behind Edinburgh and London.
It performed much better this year than in last when it came in at tenth place in 2020, scoring 78.23.
