A man has been arrested after Class A drugs and weapons were found at his address in Birkenhead.
Police carried out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at around 8.50am yesterday morning, Wednesday, September 22, at a premises on Dundonald Street.
During the search of the address, officers seized large amounts of drugs, weapons, and mobile phones.
A 49-year-old man from Birkenhead was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The weapons were also seized.
The man has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Posting on Facebook, Merseyside Police said: “The local policing team at #TeamBeb have carried out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Birkenhead this morning.
“During the search of the address, officers seized a quantity of Class A drugs, weapons and mobile phones.
“A male has been arrested for possession with intent to supply Class A. #OpVermont.”
