THE Neston Club will host two of Liverpool’s finest bands as the Summer Pops returns to Parkgate later this month.
Taking place on Friday, September 17, the event will be headlined by The Christians with support from much-loved indie dance band the Tea Street Band.
The festival will take on a slightly different format than it did in 2019, this time around taking place inside a seated marquee.
Formed in Liverpool in 1985, The Christians enjoyed huge success with their self-titled debut album released in 1987 which included the hit singles, Ideal World, Forgotten Town and Hooverville (And They Promised Us the World). Other hits include Words and their cover of the Isley Brothers’ Harvest For The World.
The Tea Street Band will be performing tracks from their new album Frequency, together with the classic singles Disco Lights and Fiesta.
Tickets start from £27.50 and are available via TicketQuarter.
