Charlotte, 9, gets planting for Stick'n'Step competition

Sarah Smithson, operations manager at Stick'n'Step, said: "We would love to see your fabulous garden creations and receive your entries to our Let Us Bloom 2021 campaign.

"Here at Stick 'n' Step, our children have been working hard on their planting for the outside areas at both our centres, with some fabulous results.

"Stick'n'Step would like to thank the sponsor of this campaign, B&M Waste for its continued support."

The charity offers support services to children with cerebral palsy and their families.

It provides the children with totally free of charge conductive education sessions, allowing them to gain the skills they need to live more independent lives.

More than 100 children from across the region attend sessions at its Wallasey and Runcorn centres.

Conductive education is about active learning. Stick ‘n’ Step sessions incorporate play and music into structured routines to develop functional skills.

Children and young people are motivated by working alongside their peers in a positive environment and are empowered to achieve realistic goals that are specific and relevant to them.
