Only one coronavirus hospital death has been recorded today
Only one coronavirus death has been recorded today in hospitals across the country, NHS England has confirmed.
The single fatality occurred in the North West at Tameside and Glossop Foundation Trust, Greater Manchester on Friday (August 21).
The patient was 82 years old and had known underlying health conditions.
It brings the total number of confirmed reported Covid-19-related deaths in hospitals in England to 29,497.
