A woman has been taken to hospital following a collision with a vehicle in the car park of popular Wirral shopping area.
Emergency services including an air ambulance were called to the incident at the Croft Retail Park in Bromborough shorlty before midday.
North West Ambulance Service have confirmed that emergency services were called to the scene at 11.50am including a road ambulance, rapid response vehicle and air ambulance.
In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "We were called to The Croft Retail Park in Bromborough at 11.50am today, Thursday, July 30, following reports a female pedestrian had been in collision with a car.
"The pedestrian, who is in her 60s, suffered an injury to her foot during the collision which occurred in the car park of the retail park and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
"The driver of the car, a Volkswagen Golf, stopped at the scene.
"Enquiries are being carried out into the circumstances leading up to the collision."
It is the fourth time that the air ambulance has been called out to the Bromborough and Eastham area in the past week.
Earlier today, the helicopter was called to a private address on Dale Avenue in Bromborough. No further details are available regarding the earlier incident.
