The latest data showing the number of new Covid-19 cases in each local authority has been published.
The figures, released by Press Association through Public Health England, show the rate of new cases in each area, based on tests that have been carried out in laboratories and in the wider community.
It details the number of cases per 100,000 population, for the week ending Sunday, June 21.
Wirral has 19.2 cases while Leicester tops the list with 140.2.
Although the borough's figures are encouraging compared to the East midlands city, neighbouring areas are performing better.
Liverpool has 6.3 cases and Cheshire West & Chester is recorded as 12.3.
