RESIDENTS, staff and friends of a Wirral care home are building a pyramid of Easter Eggs for local charities - and need your help to complete it.
All at Westhaven Care home in Hoylake wanted to raise a smile on children’s faces so they decided to donate an Easter Egg for the local Women’s refuge and the local food bank.
Manager Maureen McDonough said the appeal has not met its target of two hundred chocolate yet, due to the corona virus outbreak - which is where Globe readers can play their part.

If anyone is out for their daily exercise and passing the home in Lighthouse Road, Hoylake, they can leave an Easter Egg donation in the porch of the home.
Appealing for our readers’ help, Maureen McDonough told the Globe today: "Our residents, staff and friends of Westhaven always get behind us in any fund raising events that we plan.
"Last year it was The Royal British Legion Wheelchair push which raised over £1200.
"This year it is the Alzheimer’s society with us having raised £850 so far."
Praising the support so far, Maureen added: "I am so proud of the staff and residents of Westhaven they are all wonderful and especially now during this very difficult time the staff are all heroes in our eyes."
