THERE is less than month to go until this year's Light Up A Life switch-on for Wirral Hospice St John.
Ten thousand lights will be switched on during the emotional Globe-backed ceremony in the hospice gardens on Sunday, December 8 which starts at 5.30pm.

Irby Artists
THE Irby Artists' next exhibition takes place this Saturday.
Featuring more than 250 items of art and craft it will be on view in the display at St Chad’s Church Hall, Roslin Road, Irby from 10am-5pm.
Admission is free, refreshments available.
MSA support group
THE Wirral support group for MSA sufferers, friends, families and carers meets next Wednesday (November 20) at St John's church in Meols.
It takes place from 2-4 pm.

WIRRAL Animal Sanctuary's Christmas Fair will be held this Saturday at New Ferry Village Hall from 11am-3pm.
On the day there will be craft stalls, face painter - the usual fun of the fair.

WALLASEY Arts Society’s 57th annual prize-giving exhibition is on view at Wallasey Central (Earlston) Library until November 22.

New Brighton Townswomen
NEW Brighton Townswomen’s Guild meets this Thursday (November 14) at Emmanuel Church Hall, 158a Seabank Road, Wallasey, CH45 1HG.
There will be a talk ‘say cheese’, tea and cake, raffles and friendly conversation.

Ladybirds Christmas
WALLASEY Ladybirds Christmas fair takes place a week on Saturday (November 23) at the Grosvenor Ballroom in Grosvenor Street, Wallasey.
It starts at midday. Admission is 50p.
Coffee morning
A GUIDE Dogs charity coffee morning will be held at St Albans Parish Hall in Liscard this Saturday (November 16) from 10am - midday.
Admission £1, includes refreshments.
There will also be raffles, tombolas, bottle stall, cake and gift stall, book sale.
Carols over the Mersey
THE northern carol service of the Townswomen's Guild will be held a week on Tuesday (November 26) at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral, starting at 2pm.
All are welcome to attend this service and so get the Christmas season off to a great start. Orders of Service will be available at a cost of £8.
Messiah
ST Peter's Singers, Heswall’s Choral Society, will be performing the popular choral classic Handel’s Messiah later this month.
The performance is on Saturday, November 30 at Church of the Good Shepherd, Heswall.
Featuring soloists Heather Heighway, Joseph Buckmaster and Armand Rabot with the Summerstrand Ensemble, under the musical direction of Adrian Griffiths.

Potters display
WIRRAL Potters Christmas exhibition is at West Kirby Concourse from Saturday, November 23 until Saturday, December 7.
Featuring 13 potters exhibiting a wide range of ceramics from domestic pottery through to more decorative sculptural pieces.
The exhibition is open daily from 10am-5pm. Admission free.
Pop Orchestra
A POP orchestra meets every Tuesday at St Werburgh’s & St Laurence's parish centre in Birkenhead and is looking for more musicians.

A POP-up event where people discuss all things about death will be held at Hope Place Coffee Shop, 259 Woodchurch Road, Prenton tonight (Wednesday, November 13) from 7-9pm.
