OMD tribute band Manoeuvres will perform at the Railway Inn to help the upkeep of the iconic red telephone box.
The free outdoor show will be part of a three-day event in Meols which aims to raise enough cash to help volunteers keep the iconic 632 3003 phone box maintained.
Based on Greenwood Road, Meols, the phonebox is beloved by fans as it is the focus of the OMD's second single release Red Frame/White Light.
In 2017 it was removed as part of BT's payphone removal programme, with no objections having been received as part of the public consultation process towards the end of 2016.
But when fans realised that it had been removed, they campaigned for its reinstatement as a tourist attraction for other OMD fans who regularly travel to the site.
Spanning from 12 to 14 July, the free event will see various bands head to the Railway Inn to show their support.
Manoeuvres will perform on Saturday, July 13 at 8.15pm with the support of Imogen Bebb.
The event will also act as a book launch for children's author and illustrator Sarah-Leigh Wills' latest novel 'Once I Saw A Band Called Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark'.
With both book and band signings taking place, there will event be an OMD themed raffle.
